Neemrana Fort Palace is the Rajasthan's closest palace which is situated about 122 km on the Delhi-Jaipur highway. Neemrana Fort is located in village Neemrana in the Alwar district of Rajasthan. Neemrana Fort Palace is among the India's oldest heritage resorts which was built in the year 1464 AD. Neemrana Fort Palace is sited on a majestic plateau, concealed in a horseshoe formation of the billion year old Aravalli ranges.
The oldest known structure of any type in Delhi Built by the great ruler Sher Shah Suri in the 16th century A.D. The fort is made from red sandstone with marbles on the walls for a contrast. The old fort occupies the ancient mound, which conceals perhaps the ruins of the city of Indraprastha of Mahabharat.
